Big Jump Program

Help your students feel confident and positive about the challenges ahead

Big Jump

  • This course prepares students to move from elementary school to middle school
  • The world is very uncertain to children at this stage. This program gives them the tools they need to embrace challenges and changes, and be comfortable growing up in an uncertain world.
  • The one-day platform challenges and inspires students to dream big and be brave!
  • The framework of this interactive, engaging experience motivates students to enjoy and appreciate their time at elementary school while preparing to make the big jump.

Outcomes

  • Students reflect on, appreciate, and celebrate what they have accomplished in elementary school.
  • Students open up about their fears and hopes of making the big jump.
  • Small group formats give them a safe space to discuss fears with their peers who are facing the same thing, while working together to conquer/resolve them.
  • Students become empowered to think about their dreams and set goals to achieve them!
  • A positive and uplifting experience that helps students have a smooth transition to middle school.

Don’t take our word for it…

“Listening to the children, they are really clear on the difference humanutopia has made. My staff are being really positive about it and are saying they can already see it will make a real difference. We are going to live humanutopia for the time it takes to become fully ingrained within our school”

– Pauline Turner, Headteacher, Thrapston Primary School
