Final Push

  • This program was established to strike a chord with high school seniors by addressing the unique challenges they face.
  • We are keenly aware of the pressure that students who are approaching graduation feel. The Final Push, in a fun and relatable way, helps these students learn to make sense of and express these fears in healthy ways.
  • Our engaging platform encourages students to consider their priorities and to set realistic goals. In terms of inspiring, motivating and preparing older students, this course is a MUST!

Outcomes

  • Each student establishes & commits to making 3 impactful changes.
  • Each student leaves with 3 new, attainable goals.

    It helps students set and focus their efforts on real-world achievement, boosting overall optimism of the entire senior class.

    Grade 12, up to 240 students.

    • Full day format for entire grade group (3 sessions)
    • 2 half day sessions, half grade group/session
    • Requires: Cafeteria, auditorium, or other open hall with free-standing chairs
    •  How to acknowledge & make sense of current fears and worries.
    • How to embrace a growth mindset in the face of challenges.
    • Circumstance vs. choices: Making the distinction between things you can control and things you can’t.
    • How a positive outlook often allows you to be proactive instead of reactive, and why that matters.
    • How short-term choices impact (and quickly become) the medium and long term.
    • Rethinking what truly does and doesn’t matter.
    • How to set the right goals– goals that really matter.
